What's new?8/3/2003: I am rebuilding the entire site on a daily basis now, and I change a lot of the old stuff and add new stuff on some pages as I rebuild them. I guess the problem is that when I have too much stuff up here, the site gets corrupted and Tripod blows it away. Or something. It's a good thing I don't pay for this aggravation--I prefer my aggravation to be for free, don't you? Anyway, I am figuring things out, and I think I found a way to deal with the situation, and hopefully the navigation will be smooth, since there are all kinds of new things I want to add now, like some recipes, and a partial listing of the ripped CDs on my hard disk (just so you can understand some of what I am listening to as I rave endlessly here in FrontPage) 7/28/2003: I've had some trouble with my gracious free website hosts, tripod.com and have had to rebuild the site a couple of times now. Hopefully, there is nothing you can see that shows the site has been rebuilt again and again. The sequence of navigation elements might have changed, but now they are in an order that makes the most sense to me, regardless of whether or not they made sense before the rebuild. 7/12/2003: I am adding a bunch of new pictures under the heading of "at home." Go see them. Apart from that, there just really is not an awful lot that is new on this site. Yep. It's getting really stale :) Well, I guess that's not really altogether a true story. We got married on November 9th of 2002, and if you can find the pictures of the wedding on this site, please send me an email and I will tell you what you've won (only if you're right). If you don't feel like searching for the pictures of the wedding, you can click here to see them right now. Hey! Something else is new, too. I just got the new Office beta, and I was playing around with the new front page and noticed this page with a poem I hadn't seen in a couple of years. I'd been working on writing a poem to my sweet wife, anyway, so I thought I would practice some of my thinking and ideas as a segue from that old one. The topic is kind of the same. I was nothing without my sweetie, and I now am one SERIOUSLY MONDO HAPPY CAMPER! WooHoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! It's still like that for me every day. I am so glad I am where I am. I can't imagine how miserable I would be if I had never had the chance to feel just like this with just this woman. Can you find the poem? Thank you to everyone *and you know who you are* who wished the best for me. Our wishes came true! |
